
Fall Forest Course
Study mushrooms and lichen, collect and identify autumn leaves, learn about the rhythms of the forest and wildlife as winter approaches, and explore the forest, muskeg, lake, and meadows with new friends and art, crafts, stories, and more.

Winter Snowshoe Excursions
Explore the lake, trails, and forests at Solid Rock on snowshoes. Look for animal tracks, observe cloud types, and chart weather & snow conditions. Each group will be led by a Solid Rock staff member and will include basic instruction and skillbuilding. Snowshoes & poles provided.

Spring Forest Course
Tap birch trees as their sap starts running, study the water cycle and erosion as the snow melts, plant flower seeds, and explore the forest, muskeg, lake, and meadows with new friends and art, crafts, stories, and more.

Explore the lake, trails, and forests at Solid Rock in the splendor of autumn. Look for animal tracks, mushrooms and lichen, and . Each group will be led by a Solid Rock staff member and will include instruction & skill building, and will finish indoors with hot cocoa and a memory verse. The last class will be 2.5 hours and pick-up and drop-off will be at the barn. Snowshoes and poles provided.
Tuesdays - 2nd-4th grade
Wednesdays - 4th-6th grade
Thursdays - 5th-8th grade
