Office Assistant
The Camp Office Assistant helps keep the camp office running smoothly and welcoming. This role is often the first point of contact for parents, campers, guests, and delivery drivers. We’re looking for someone friendly, dependable, and willing to learn.
This role includes helping keep the camp office tidy, organized, and welcoming—not just the reception area. It also requires flexibility and a willingness to jump in and help with a variety of simple tasks as needs arise.
Camp Office Assistant
Solid Rock Bible Camp – Soldotna, Alaska
Hours: Part-time (about 20 hours per week)
Pay: Hourly
Training provided – no special education or office experience required
What You’ll Do
Answer Phones & Help Families

Answer phones politely and direct calls to the right staff member

Take messages and pass along voicemails

Answer basic questions from parents or connect them with the correct person
Support Camp Operations

Print camper lists, allergy lists, and other reports from our online registration system

Be present in the office to give directions, answer questions, and help families feel welcome
Office Help & General Support

Help keep the camp office tidy, organized, and welcoming

Monitor the camp’s general email inbox and pass messages to the appropriate staff

Receive and sort mail and packages

Help with office projects such as guest group prep, bulk mailings, and assembling monthly tax receipts (no accounting required—just preparation and envelopes)

Order office supplies as needed
